Trenton’s BPX6736 PCI express backplane utilizes the butterfly form factor in support of 2U rack mount computer designs. Side A of this server-class PICMG® 1.3 backplane supports one single or dual-processor single board computer and two x8 PCI Express® slots driven directly by the single board computer’s x8 PCIe links.

Side A also includes a USB Audio interface. Side B includes two x8 PCIe slots driven with x1 links from an SBC such as a Trenton TSB7053, BXT7059 or MCX. BPX6736 PCI Express backplane is available with and without on-board Ethernet connectors.
