HS-P82 offers 8 tracks of the highest quality recording, yet it is built for the rigors of location recording with reliable solid-state performance. he unit has 8 XLR mic inputs, each with phantom power and analog limiting. Recessed front-panel trim controls for each channel prevent accidental changes. In addition to the 8 individual tracks, a stereo mixdown can also be recorded for instant use during editing. The broadcast WAV audio files also include iXML metadata for use with a variety of audio and video editing systems. The unit has a USB port for convenient file transfer to any computer.
