This exclusive low profile vertical dock includes I/O port replication (including VGA, RJ45 10/100 Ethernet, RS-232 Serial, 4x USB 2.0) and DC-in with power pass-thru to enable the a7230X's batteries to charge while docked. It also provides a GPS external antenna port for adding an antenna to greatly enhance positional accuracy. The a72XVDC features VESA 75/100mm compatible mounting holes on the back of docking station for easy mounting on a vehicle dashboard or flat against a wall, as well as two additional mounting holes on the bottom for stable and secure counter mounting. The a72XVDC also conveniently provides a quick release latch for tool-less removal and installation of the a7230X UMPC, as well as dual locking thumb tabs that includes a security screw for added protection and safe keeping.
