The One Systems 118.HSB is a direct-weather capable 18-inch subwoofer system housed in a thick-walled copolymer enclosure that's available in black and white (paintable) colors. The 118.HSB features an 18-inch woofer with a 4-inch (101 mm) voice coil built by One Systems that provides enhanced LF impact and dynamics. The 118.HSB is specially designed to augment sound systems that require extended low frequency response. The 118.HSB's 800 watt continuous power handling and sensitivity insure its high output capability. The 118.HSB's enclosure is made of a special copolymer resin that has high UV resistance and is impervious to temperature extremes. The 118.HSB’s enclosure is equipped with 316 marine-grade stainless steel suspension and enclosure reinforcements. Thanks to its fully reinforced suspension points, the 118.HSB can be flown using optional U-Bracket (118.HSB-UM). One Systems also offers an optional pan / tilt bracket (PT76.M) and a pole mount bracket for attachment for mounting the 118.HSB on light or utility poles (PM4/M) when permitted by local codes and appropriate mounting surfaces. All optional suspension hardware features 316 marine-grade stainless steel construction. The 118.HSB features a 3-stage “rain shield” grille designed to minimize moisture intrusion. The grille’s exterior layer is a “hybrid” design that features a newly developed marine-grade polyester power coat over 304-grade stainless steel. This allows the 118/HSB to be used in oceanfront and cruise ship applications as well as for other direct-weather installations. The 118.HSB’s combination of extended low-end response, high output capability, compact size and installation flexibility make it a high performance subwoofer value and an excellent solution for upgrading the performance of a sound system.
