The One Systems 108.STC is an 8-inch two-way coaxial direct weather loudspeaker system designed for inland, non-coastal outdoor environments or general-purpose indoor applications. Its 8-inch coaxial design provides true point source acoustic radiation, wide response and high intelligibility from its compact, yet solid injection-molded enclosure. The 108.STC's compression driver features a titanium diaphragm and uses a "through-the-pole piece" design. The 108.STC features a coverage pattern of 70 x 70 degrees, ideal for short to medium-throw applications where higher sound pressure levels and longer throw are specified. The 108.STC is installer-configurable for 8 ohm or 70.7/100 volts accessible via separate input barrier strips. The Hi-Z mode features an autoformer that provides taps of 150 watts, 75 watts and 37.5 watts at 70.7 or 100 volts. This input configuration uses no switches that might limit the system's reliability. The 108.STC includes a structural steel U-Bracket with a dual-layer zinc-rich powder coating. The 108.STC also features seven heavily reinforced, stainless steel M8 inserts for long life and safety and permit use of One Systems PT38.M pan / tilt and the PM3.M pole mount brackets for additional flexibility. The 108.STC's enclosure is injection molded from a high-impact copolymer that exhibits superior weather resistance and is stabilized for UV exposure. The enclosure features a three-layer "rain shield" grille design and has an input weather cover equipped with a waterproof gland nut. The system's ingress protection is rated at IP 45 and can be converted to IP 56 using vent plugs.
