Linux-based network management card manages Ventura series cards. It acts as an SNMP agent for all cards in shelf, controls and configures them using web browser and stores all data in Flash (buffer) memory. It can be configured to control other cards using remote and secure Telnet session. It is unobtrusive in installing or uninstalling and acts automatically as soon as new card is inserted in one of slots in shelf. It uses residual power to save data and shuts down in controlled manner.
