With Nevion’s long haul optical interfaces and low loss optical filters distances above 80km can be achieved making the product ideal for optical metro networks. And combined with the optical couplers, optical switches and electrical change-overs in the modular Flashlink range improved redundancy mechanisms can be added to the system.
