MS-2XX is designed to provide over 130dB of common mode isolationat 60Hz and to help eliminate RF interference from radio and television stations. Transformer isolation allows maximum interconnection flexibility, since both sources and loads may be either balanced or unbalanced. Inputs are driven by 150 to 200ohms nominal mics and outputs feed mic pre-amps. As a splitter, direct outputs are taken from the barrier strip IN terminals while isolated outputs are taken from the XLR outputs (isolated outputs don’t pass phantom power). Internal shielding prevents hum pickup from magnetic fields.
